Summary
ROLE: Bodyshop Panel Beater / MET Technician
LOCATION: Shoreham-by-Sea
SALARY: £35,000 per annum (plus performance related bonus) + benefits
HOURS: Monday – Friday 8.00 – 5.00. 1 in 2 Saturdays 8.30 – 12.30
Our client is looking for a Bodyshop Panel Beater / MET Technician for their body repair centre.
We’re looking for someone with experience in the automotive body shop environment, either with a franchise or independent.
As the Bodyshop Panel Beater / MET Technician, you will play a crucial role in the success of our aftersales operation. You will be a well-organised individual who thrives in a challenging environment, always wanting to achieve and perform at your very best.
Key responsibilities:
• Undertake mechanical diagnostic checks on vehicles prior and post repair
• Undertake general mechanical work
• Identify which vehicle parts are required and list as necessary
• Removal, fitting and trimming of vehicle body panels
• Repair and replacement of body vehicle panels
Key skills and attributions:
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Exceptional commitment to customer care
• Excellent communication skills
• Pride in tasks undertaken and completed
• Excellent timekeeper and punctual
Experience:
• Previous experience as a Panel Beater / MET Technician in body repair is essential
• Welding experience is not essential but highly desired (training will be provided)
• Qualification including ATA or NVQ Level 3 are highly desired
