Islington - Early Years Practitioner roles now available
This bright and friendly nursery located in Islington is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join the welcoming and hardworking team of staff!
Previous experience working with children under 5 in a nursery or childcare setting would be ideal, and (at least) a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for the suitable Early Years Practitioner.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you play a key role in preparing young children for their future, and it is important to have a real passion for supporting their growth and development in their most formative years. Strong knowledge of EYFS and children's learning and development is desirable too.
This is a lovely nursery that puts children's needs and development at the forefront of everything, and have built an in which every child is supported, cared for and able to thrive within a home-from-home atmosphere. There are age-specific rooms, sensory areas, and a lovely private garden for extended learning and play.

Your main responsibilities as a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner will include:
• Planning and delivering play-based learning activities and exploration, following the EYFS curriculum
• Providing a stimulating, supportive and safe environment that allows children to grow and learn
• Supporting and assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development
• Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and supporting the nursery management team
• Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development from a young age, helping them to develop positive relationships and form/build on their social skills
• Carrying out observations and assessing key children's progress
This is a permanent position for the suitable Early Years Practitioner to work full-time Monday-Friday (8am-6pm), to start soon. Located in Islington, this nursery is easily accessed thanks to excellent transport links.
