My client is a progressive, growing provider of Supported Living and Residential Care, for adults with learning disabilities and autism.
We are looking for an experienced, talented and passionate individual to take up the role of Positive Behavioural Support Lead
Positive behaviour support (PBS) is a person centred framework for providing long-term support to people with a learning disability, and/or autism, including those with mental health conditions, who have, or may be at risk of developing, behaviours that challenge.
This is an exciting opportunity to be instrumental in a period of growth. With new services opening and re-development and design of existing services you will be leading and building a high-performing team and lead on person centred, quality-focused PBS services.
As part of the senior management team you will have strategic and operational leadership of the PBS function, ensuring high levels of motivation, facilitating personal development and encouraging and creating opportunities for people to contribute and develop within the organisation.
You will lead on the implementation, and ongoing development and delivery of the PBS strategy. Providing behavioural assessment and functional analyses advice and guidance, to families, clinical support staff and other professionals, whilst working with PBS partners, complex care teams, speech and language therapists, in providing a multidisciplinary clinical service.
This will be highly rewarding, you will be joining a creative, dynamic organisation offering a broad and varied range of life-changing services that genuinely make an impact.
You will be joining a highly experienced and driven senior management team with an excellent track record, a passion for social care and support, and an unwavering belief in the difference you can make.
A degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Psychiatry, Nursing or similar is desirable for this post.
Additional qualifications in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Autism & Trauma would be advantageous.
