We are seeking a qualified and safety-focused IPAF Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating powered access equipment safely and efficiently to support construction, maintenance, and installation projects. The ideal candidate will hold a valid International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) certification and demonstrate strong awareness of health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities-
Operate powered access equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and cherry pickers in accordance with IPAF guidelines.

Conduct pre-use inspections and routine equipment checks.

Ensure safe maneuvering and positioning of equipment at various heights.

Follow site-specific risk assessments and method statements.

Adhere strictly to company health & safety policies and current legislation.

Report faults, defects, or safety concerns immediately.

Assist site teams with tasks at height, including installation, maintenance, and repairs.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Valid IPAF license (e.g., 3a, 3b categories or relevant).

Previous experience operating powered access machinery.

Good understanding of working-at-height regulations.

Ability to read and follow safety documentation.

Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

CSCS card (preferred, depending on site requirements).

Full UK driving licence (desirable).

Strong commitment to health and safety.

Reliable and punctual.

Physically fit and comfortable working at height.
