Summary
We are seeking a committed and child-focused leader to manage a residential
children’s home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
This opportunity is open to:
An experienced Registered Manager
A strong Senior Support Worker ready to step up
We are open to supporting the right candidate through the Ofsted registration
process.
Who This Role Would Suit
We welcome applications from candidates who:
Have at least 5 years’ experience working within a children’s residential
home
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Senior Support Worker
Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
Are willing to complete (or are already completing) the Level 5 Diploma in
Leadership & Management
Are ready to take the next step into leadership with the right support
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior Support Worker who feels
ready for progression into management.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
Leading and developing a stable staff team
Ensuring safeguarding, compliance and regulatory standards are consistently
met
Overseeing care planning, risk assessments and placement stability
Building strong working relationships with local authorities and professionals
Creating a therapeutic, structured and nurturing environment for young people
Preparing for and leading Ofsted inspections
If not already registered, structured support will be provided to achieve registration.
