Location: London, SW198UH
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum - depending on experience
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (06:00 - 14:30) with the odd weekend cover shift on rotation amongst the team

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Large-volume catering for global daily menus across London workplace contracts (around 2,500 meals per day)
- Lead shifts and guide a team of 6–8 chefs, including CDPs and junior kitchen staff
- Report to the Head Chef
- Identify opportunities to improve food service
- Create a positive kitchen environment where the team feels welcomed and supported
- Ensure strong food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain excellent cooking skills with attention to detail and presentation
- Work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Passion for using high-quality ingredients and preserving authentic culinary traditions
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-quality culinary environment, preferably in large-scale catering or high-volume service
- Background in contract catering or large hotels is ideal
- Experience working with fresh food in a volume environment
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
