Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Cabinet Maker who will be based at our workshop near Thame, Oxfordshire.
The role will include:
· Reading detailed architects’ drawings and plans to interpret and produce bespoke high-quality furniture from start to finish. This includes working with a variety of different materials along with veneering, laminating and edge banding, and utilising knowledge of hardware, glues, fixings etc.
· Checking and preparing woodwork pre-finishing
· Managing time on a wide variety of projects efficiently, on your own or as part of a team
· Working to tight deadlines and to the highest level of detail and ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to.
Job Requirements
· Previous practical experience as a Cabinet Maker is essential
· Ability to read drawings and produce cutting lists
· Experience of commercial manufacturing
· Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
· Excellent time management
· Confident using machinery and handheld tools safely.
· An understanding of materials used in manufacturing
· Excellent communications skills and the ability to work as part of a small team
· Willing to work overtime if required
· Holding a CSCS card would be advantageous
· Previous experience of using CNC equipment is desirable
· Must be eligible to work in the UK, with proof of right to work
· A full UK driving licence is also desirable, as there is limited public transport in the area.
