CNC MachinistLocation: ElyHours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm(Shift will change to 5:00am – 1:30pm in the future)Pay: £15.00 – £17.00 per hour (DOE)Contract: Temp to Perm (via Workchain)Workchain is recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist to join a busy production team in Ely. This is a temp to perm role with opportunities for long-term progression.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set, and operate 3 & 5 axis CNC machines (Morbidelli / Alfa)Work to production specifications and complete paperwork accuratelyCarry out QC checks and prep materials before machiningMaintain machine uptime, minimise set-up times, and keep work area safe and tidyReport delays or issues to Team Leader promptlySkills & Experience2–3 years’ CNC machine experience (timber preferred)Knowledge of Xilog Plus / X-Door advantageousForklift licence (desirable)Strong attention to detail and efficiencyPersonal AttributesReliable, team-focused, and enthusiasticCalm under pressure with good time managementWillingness to learn and developFlexible approach to working hoursApply today through Workchain for this long-term, temp to perm opportunity.
