Contract: Easter to May Half Term (with potential extension to the end of the academic year)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive mainstream secondary school in HR7 from the Easter term. This is a temporary position initially running until May half term, with the possibility of extending through to the end of the academic year for the right candidate.

The Role

• Teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress
• Contributing positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed)
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Be committed to raising achievement and supporting students of all abilities
• Be adaptable, proactive, and a team player
