We are seeking Minibus Drivers to join our team of casual drivers who provide support to cover staff absences for transporting our students to/from school Monday - Friday, term time only. The morning shift starts at 06:00 with the afternoon shift starting at 15:15 and shifts will vary depending on requirements. There may be other ad hoc opportunities for supporting events across the school calendar during term-time which might include driving students to sports fixtures or school trips.
You will join a friendly and very welcoming team of both permanent and casual drivers. Key requirements include:
A valid Category D1 driving licence (preferred) with a satisfactory driving recordHave/be prepared to take the MIDAS qualificationThe ability to react calmly in emergency situationsOver 21 years of ageHave/be prepared to take a suitable First Aid qualificationIT proficiencyMaintaining good customer relations with parents and the school and contributing to a good atmosphere on the busThis is an important role within school as we pride ourselves on providing the highest level of customer service. The successful candidate will be experienced, conscientious and professional in all aspects of this position. Being trustworthy and reliable is also of utmost importance.
