Summary

We are looking for an Adult's Social Worker to join an Early Support Team

Do not apply for this role if you do not have a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years' experience in permanent contract/s.

About the team

This team specialises in community based work by providing an initial response service for people in the community in need of immediate support. They are the first point of contact, and they will deal with all initial inquires and signpost them to the necessary team. An important part of this team's responsibilities include best interest decisions, completing S9 care needs assessments and taking part in duty work.

About You

It is essential to have a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of two years' experience within adult's Social Work post qualified. A successful candidate will be knowledgeable with the section 9 care needs assessments and be able to perform a section 42 assessment if required, as this is an important part of this role. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle are essential to be considered for this role
