Summary

We are looking for someone who will: Provide professional enquiry and evidence search services to K&L members, supporting them to undertake study, service improvement, audit and research. Identify the training needs of the multi-disciplinary teams covered by the service. Provide teaching and training to individuals and groups of staff on effective use of information services, critical appraisal of research and other information skills, using face-to-face delivery, remote teaching tools and blended learning where appropriate. Work alongside multi-professional teams in their environment, e.g. attending meetings, journal clubs, ward rounds (where appropriate), and other events, to establish the best methods of supporting their information needs. Develop expert knowledge in specialist areas in order to understand and fulfil the needs of the assigned teams and departments. Proactively offer evidence reports, information skills teaching, information resources, and evidence updates as needed, generating additional work for Knowledge and Libraries. Assist in running of Knowledge and Libraries by supporting and influencing service developments and planning.
