Summary
Deerwood Sanctuary is a warm, traditional care home in Brierley Hill. We are looking for a reliable Domestic Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard
- Following cleaning schedules and infection‑control procedures
- Safe use of cleaning products and equipment
- Laundry duties, including washing, drying, and organising linen
- Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
- Supporting the wider team to maintain a homely, welcoming atmosphere
Requirements
- Good attention to detail and pride in high standards
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- Understanding of infection control (training provided)
- Friendly, respectful approach when working around residents
- Experience in a care or hospitality setting is helpful but not essential
