Cygnet Group are looking for a dedicated and organised Clinical Administrator to join our team at Cygnet Sedgley Lodge & House.

You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 05:00 pm, helping to ensure the safe and smooth running of services for the people in our care.

Cygnet Sedgley House and Cygnet Sedgley Lodge offer a 34-bed high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for men with complex needs. The service is designed to provide an environment that promotes mental health recovery by focusing on space, personal privacy and dignity.

Located just outside Wolverhampton city centre, the service benefits from excellent transport links across the West Midlands.

Who We Support

Men aged 18+ who may be:

  • Detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) or informal

  • Living with primary mental illness, including:

    • Complex comorbidities

    • Substance, drug or alcohol misuse

    • Treatment resistance

    • Behaviours that challenge

  • Aiming for a return to community or community-based care

  • History of Sexual Abuse or Domestic Violence

  • Typical diagnoses: Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Affective Disorder or Depression.

Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

  • Provide a high standard of organisational and administrative support

  • Prepare reports and written materials as required

  • Maintain accurate files, records and documentation

  • Work collaboratively with the wider administration team to ensure smooth departmental operations

  • Take notes and minutes during meetings when required

  • Answer telephone calls and respond to enquiries in a friendly, professional manner

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally in a customer‑facing or clinical environment

  • Highly organised, helpful and confident managing multiple tasks

  • Strong IT skills, including Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Familiarity with telephone systems

  • Polite, friendly and approachable, with excellent communication skills

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), with strong numeracy and literacy skills

  • Close attention to detail and a clear understanding of confidentiality

  • Flexibility to support cover for annual leave, sickness and training
