About the Role:
In this pivotal role as Project and Transformation Manager, you will take the lead on service improvement initiatives and project management activities as identified in the annual delivery plan. You will oversee the full commissioning and project lifecycle—from initial concept and business case development through to options appraisal, cost analysis, and successful project delivery.

Working closely with Heads of Service, you will act as the key link between the ‘client’ and project teams, ensuring the work programme is delivered to a high standard, on time and within scope. You will also manage specific service reviews and business transformation programmes, identifying opportunities to deliver efficiencies and secure identified savings.

A key element of this role includes supporting the Head of Service, along with colleagues across the organisation, to deliver the Local Government Reorganisation agenda.

This role is full time, working 34 hours per week on a permanent contract.

About You:
You will have:
• Education to degree level, with a project management qualification
• Strong project management experience across the full project lifecycle
• Ability to lead service improvement and transformation activity
• Experience of commissioning and procurement methods and an understanding of transformation and the issues relating to Local Government Reorganisation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A strategic mindset, with the ability to analyse complex information and deliver practical solutions
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
