Location: Midlands (Covering contracts in the Midlands and North West Region)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40hrs
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
The Electrical Contracts Manager will:

Lead the mobilisation of new contracts, ensuring all client requirements are fully understood and delivered.
Develop, strengthen, and maintain effective working relationships with clients, internal teams, and external suppliers.
Plan, programme, coordinate, and oversee projects to ensure consistent and high‑quality service delivery.
Ensure all contracts are managed in strict compliance with current Health & Safety legislation.
Deliver contracts in line with both client‑agreed SLA/KPI measures and internal performance standards.
Manage staff and resources efficiently, ensuring operational targets and deadlines are consistently achieved.
Implement and uphold all Health & Safety and Corporate Social Responsibility policies, ensuring internal objectives are met.
Ensure all contract documentation and related correspondence are properly prepared, structured, and executed throughout each project phase.
Apply value‑engineering principles to meet client budget expectations without compromising quality.
Take operational ownership of all ongoing works and projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, to the highest standard, and with strong financial performance.
Monitor, assess, and report on the training, performance, and development of direct reports in line with the company’s Performance Management Policy and in collaboration with the HR team.

About You
Essential Criteria

BTEC HNC Level 4 in a relevant discipline (Candidates with business/management qualifications will be considered if they possess a level of relevant technical knowledge/experience) or time served electrician with experience supervising & managing large scale electrical projects (Candidates must demonstrate that they have sufficient managerial skills to be considered).
Strong administrative skills including proficiency across the Microsoft Office package
Clean driving licence.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project or Asta Project.
Previous experience managing large scale electrical installation contracts.
Demonstrate sound commercial knowledge.
Demonstrate strong communication skills.
Track record of working to budgetary targets.
Sound project management track record including project planning and mobilisation.
Demonstrate experience with NEC3/4 & JCT contracts
Desirable Criteria

Experience of working with local government, healthcare, education or Defence sector Clients.
H&S Qualification to NEBOSH Certificate level.
Sound knowledge of local supply chain.
Experience in planned & reactive maintenance contracts.
Previous experience working on Measured Term Contracts (PSA/NSR).
City & Guilds Computer Aided Design (7579)
Experience in electrical estimating and knowledge of estimating software.
