About the role

We are looking for a reliable and versatile Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will carry out a wide variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across our client sites, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The position involves both planned and reactive maintenance, which will include evening and weekend rota commitments- please do not apply if you are unable to commit to this working schedule. You will be confident carrying out a range of multi-trade works including carpentry, decorating, general building maintenance, ground works, and basic electrical maintenance.

This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism, flexibility, and a proactive approach are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance, repair, and installation works across client sites.
• Perform multi-trade works including painting and decorating, carpentry and joinery repairs, basic electrical maintenance, and general building and ground works.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests as a first point of contact.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance across client properties.
• Diagnose faults and provide safe, efficient, and effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including carrying out risk assessments and following safe working practices.
• Maintain accurate records of works completed using company systems and reporting procedures.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure minimal disruption and high-quality service delivery.


Skills and experience required

• Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance or facilities engineering role within commercial or residential environments.
• Strong all-round practical skills across trades such as carpentry, decorating, basic electrics, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage workload effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• Experience with building management systems (BMS).
• Additional trade qualifications (e.g. IPAF, carpentry, or plumbing).
• Experience working in commercial, industrial, or multi-site environments.
