In addition to attached job description please read below This deputy sister/charge nurse role is essential to provide the safe and effective running of the AGTU clinical area, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team your role will involve providing direct care to patients as well as providing strong clinical leadership . Its essential you are empathic to the emotional needs of the women and their families attending AGTU. As a deputy sister/charge nurse you will be expected to be able to provide expert knowledge of gynae and early pregnancy complications on a 24/7 basis, working all shift patterns including nights. This post is suitable for staff who have emergency SDEC experience and an interest in emergency gynaecology and early pregnancy. You must be confident and clinically competent to manage all areas of the service on a daily basis.
