Summary
The postholder will coordinate, support, and monitor highquality learning opportunities within the clinical assessment environment, ensuring both public protection and the effective development of trainees. They will play an active role in helping preregistration learners achieve their practice assessment outcomes, supporting their progression toward professional registration and facilitating their integration into the workplace. They will also assist newly registered radiographers and internationally recruited colleagues as they settle into the department, providing mentorship, pastoral support, and structured training. This will enable new staff members to complete all required Trust and local competency documentation confidently and successfully. In addition, the Practice Education Facilitator will lead on device and equipment training, delivering agreed programmes of learning and participating in educational audits in collaboration with local Higher Education Institutions. This work will be undertaken with a high degree of autonomy with guidance from the Lead Clinical Educators and Superintendent Radiographers.
