Summary
About the role:
This position is for a Warehouse operative in a small warehouse located in the Medway Valley Park Business Estate. The company distributes new wheels, tyres and accessories for cars and vans to businesses and end users.
Working in a small warehouse team you will report directly to the warehouse manager.
We seek a motivated, organised and conscientious individual to join our team with the UK’s fastest growing steel and alloy wheel supplier. Based in Rochester, Kent, the role requires an enthusiastic individual who is able deal with day-to-day warehouse processes and administration, and assist with tyre fitting.
Applicant would ideally have previous experience of wheel and tyre fitting and wheel balancing.
A Forklift licence would be advantageous.
Key responsibilities:
• Picking, packing and wrapping products for dispatch.
• Fitting, balancing of wheels and tyres.
• Checking and unpacking deliveries.
• Stock, consumables and sundries materials monitoring and updating.
• Warehouse document control – packing slips, delivery notes.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
• Basic machine maintenance – e.g cleaning, lubricating etc.
