Short Description:
We are offering a rare opportunity to join a bespoke Lloyds broker within our Finance function. This role is pivotal to operation within the business and we are offering full training towards Cert CII and also within finance, This role will have full access to one to one contact and training from the Group CFO and Group IBA Manager.
Full Description:
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our accounting department as Insurance Broker Accounts Technician to help us drive efficiency and support services throughout the Front and Middle office.
This is an excellent opportunity where you will be working directly with the management team in managing our daily administrative activities including credit management and cash collection from our UK, European and North American office.
The position involves executing an array of finance related tasks alongside the CFO and Group IBA manager of Servca Group.
· Cash Matching, Allocation & Reconciliation of received balances
· Credit Control - Chasing outstanding premium and requesting breakdowns for un-reconciled receipts and allocating to entries once received
· Filing of all relevant documentation such as bank statements, remittance advices and correspondence;
· Assisting other team members during busy periods
· Assisting with FCA Client money projects and Drawdowns
· Payment of Insurer balances Ownership of the Office account day to day postings. Debiting of item to our in-house systems
· Posting of transactions to our in-house PAS System
· Data Mirroring between systems

Skills Required:
· Highly proficient with Numbers
· High competency in spoken and written English language
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook.
Personal Qualities:
· Ability to manage own time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met and communicate to line manager.
· Attention detail – to be careful on detail and thorough in completing tasks.
· Integrity – to be honest and ethical at all times.
· Teamwork across remote locations – ability to work independently in virtual teams, to take on and complete a list of recurring tasks Dependability.
