United Response is seeking an experienced Leadership & Management Trainer to design and embed bite-size, values-led leadership learning across the organisation. This role ensures leadership capability is consistent, measurable and aligned to organisational KPIs, Strategic Pillars, Skills for Care frameworks, and the principles of People We Support, Our People, Pounds & Pennies, and Policy & Practice.

This is more than a delivery role, you will act as a learning architect and content creator, developing practical, scalable and digitally accessible programmes fully integrated into core people processes.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver bite-size, modular leadership learning across all grades, clearly defining behavioural expectations, accountability and influence at each level. Translate organisational behaviours, KPIs and values into practical, accessible learning (digital, blended and facilitated) that supports confident day-to-day decision-making.

Align programmes to Skills for Care leadership principles (Leading Self, Others and the Organisation), ensuring learning complements existing pathways and embeds United Response values into observable leadership behaviours.

Integrate leadership development across recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal, talent and succession planning. Develop learning that strengthens person-centred care, inclusive leadership, financial stewardship, regulatory compliance and whole-organisation thinking — working collaboratively with People, Quality, Finance and Operational leaders to embed impact across the organisation.

A relevant professional qualification, or equivalent demonstrable experience, in leadership development, learning and development, organisational development, or adult social care leadership.
