Summary
Age UK Oldham wish to appoint an Older Together Supervisor
(12 months fixed term contract)
Responsible to: Care Services Manager
Location: Royton and Shaw
Hours: 6 hours per week, 3 hours per day to be worked in Royton on Mondays 11am to 2pm & Shaw on Tuesdays 12 noon to 3pm
As an Older Together Supervisor for Age UK Oldham you will welcome older people from the borough for a friendly chat, to share experiences and to join in a range of fun and engaging activities that promote wellbeing and provide a sense of community.
You will plan and deliver activities in a structured way considering ideas and requests from clients and will be responsible for encouraging them to partake in fundraising to ensure the service becomes self-sustainable.
Older Together Supervisor’s also monitor clients and signpost them to other services and liaise with care professionals as required.
Any offer of employment with Age UK Oldham will be subject to a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring (DBS) Service.
