Aviation Ramp Agent Required!

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a RAMP AGENT to work for DHL International based at Stansted Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global leader in logistics, distribution, and supply chain management, with full Aviation training provided.

· Pay ranges from - £14.69 per hour to £17.40 per hour

· Overtime Pay from £22.04 per hour

· Duration: Ongoing

· Location: Stansted Airport

· Free Onsite Parking

· Full Training Provided

· Opportunity to be trained and given an Airside Pass once Permanent

· Canteen Available

Shift Patterns:

The shift patterns that would be expected to work on a 3 week shift pattern as per the below

WEEK 1 Mon 1800-0300 Tue-Thurs 1900-0400

WEEK 2 Mon-Thurs 2359-0900 Fri 2300-0800

WEEK 3 Mon-Thurs 2359-0900 Fri 2300- 0800 Sun 2000-0100

Requirements of an AVIATION RAMP AGENT:

· Be willing to apply for a DBS Check (Paid for by us!)

· Be willing to provide a 5-year HMRC letter (We will show you how!)

· Be willing to undertake an online Aviation Cargo Operative Course (Paid for by us!)

· Client requires the workers to have a driving licence

Role of an AVIATION RAMP AGENT:

· Must be confident using laptop and a good understanding of computer systems and using such as Microsoft Excel.

· Using all Microsoft Packages

· Oversee Cargo aircraft offloading and reloading with 3rd party ground handling company

· Monitoring the Airport Trucking Operation

· Maintaining and upholding company and CAA standards

· Managing/Inspecting Containers

· Working on your own and as a team

· No heavy lifting involved
