Summary
Key responsibilities
General Labourer/Driver to support our external contract across 6 Hospital site within the LCRs.
• The successful candidate will assist with a variety of general manual labour tasks and will also be responsible for driving duties such as transporting materials and equipment between the different locations.
• You will have access to a company vehicle as part of this role.
• Carry out general labouring duties including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, vehicles, and storage spaces.
• Assist with basic site preparation and maintenance,
• Follow all health and safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
• Report any vehicle or equipment defects promptly.
Skills required
• Previous labouring and driving experience are essential.
• Aged 25 years + is advantageous for insurance purposes only.
• This role requires a strong work ethic, a safety-first approach, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Support other team members and undertake additional duties as requested by the supervisor.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and take instruction.
• Flexible approach to varying tasks and working conditions.
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or within a team.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
Qualifications required Full UK driving licence (clean licence preferred).
