Assistant Greenkeeper - Heaton Moor Golf Club
Heaton Moor Golf Club is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Assistant Greenkeeper to join our small team of highly skilled Greenkeepers who maintain our 18-hole parkland course situated in South Manchester. We offer a professional, motivated and inclusive work environment with the opportunity to develop your skills.
What you can expect
Working with the Greenkeeping team under the guidance of the Head Greenkeeper, you will support the maintenance and presentation of the golf course to its current high standards. Your duties will include:
• Daily course preparation and presentation
• Bunker maintenance
• Mowing of fairways, rough, tees and greens
• Operation and care of machinery
• Supporting ongoing improvement projects
• Weekend work will be required on a rota basis
The successful candidate will be:
• Highly motivated hard worker who takes pride in their work
• Excellent Team Worker with the ability to work on their own
• Has previous greenkeeping experience (desirable but not essential)
