Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Powder Coating Operative to join a busy and well-established team in a large open warehouse based in Great Yarmouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Powder Coating: Apply powder coating finishes to steel/metal frames to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality.

  
  

• Preparation: Mask and prepare metal items for coating, ensuring that each item is ready for the application process.

  
  

• Hanging: Carefully hang items after powder coating for drying, ensuring no damage or issues during the curing process.

  
  

• Post-Coating Handling: Once cured, carefully move and stack finished products onto pallets.

  
  

• Tool Use: Use hand-held tools to secure bases and knock rubber bungs into frames as required.

  
  

• Pallet Wrapping: Use shrink wrap to secure items on pallets before moving them.

  
  

• Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure the powder coating area and the production floor are kept clean by using an industrial broom.

  
  

• Manual Handling: Operate manual pump-up pallet trucks to move pallets within the warehouse and yard.

  
  
  Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar Powder Coating or manufacturing environment would be very advantageous.

    
    

  • Ability to work efficiently and carefully in a busy, fast-paced setting.

    
    

  • Strong attention to detail to maintain high-quality standards.

    
    

  • Good manual handling skills and ability to operate basic tools and equipment.

    
    

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately.

    
    

  • Must be physically fit and capable of handling lifting and manual tasks.
