Summary
Applications are invited for an initial 12-month post with the possibility of extension, for an experienced speciality doctor in breast surgery at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a friendly, highly enthusiastic doctor to join the well-regarded breast team at Warwick Hospital. The candidate should be motivated and caring and will complement the existing team. The successful candidate will be expected to support a range of breast clinics, to be competent to see patients in their own clinics (younger women clinic, family history clinic) and to help in breast theatre / manage breast emergencies. Support and training given as required. It is also expected that the individual will take part in service development projects, audits, and research. It would also help if they had an interest in medical student teaching. It is expected that the post holder will have full MRCS, or equivalent and full GMC registration. The post has no on call commitment.
