Weekends: 7am–7pm (Willing to consider 6–12 hour shifts, alternate weekends, or flexible arrangements that provide adequate coverage) Working 2:1 during the day Additional bank shifts available to cover staff sickness and holidays (Please note: familiarity with the individual is essential before covering as bank staff) Overnights (sleep in) shifts also available to cover holiday & sickness

We are looking for enthusiastic, engaging, and experienced Personal Assistants to join a small, dedicated care team supporting a 30-year-old woman with Cerebral Palsy, scoliosis, and dystonia in her own fully adapted home, working 2:1 during the day.

She has a happy, easy-going personality and enjoys music, shopping, fashion, cooking, films, art, and creative activities. She attends a local Leisure & Skills Centre and lives a full and active life. Though non-verbal, she communicates effectively in her own unique ways, and forming a strong rapport is a key part of this role.

This is a highly rewarding, person-centred position where your support can make a genuine difference.

Duties include:
- Undertake all personal care
- Dressing / undressing
- Bathing assistance
- Give feed via gastrostomy button
- Medication preparation & administration
- Provide ongoing entertainment and stimulation
- Other relevant duties as required

Candidate qualities:
- Able to demonstrate experience of supporting someone with complex & physical needs – preferred
- Experience of using specialist equipment such as overhead ceiling hoist, wheelchair and standing frame – helpful
- Will be able to support M to participate in a range of activities in her home and outside
- Have ability to speak & understand English to communicate with M, who is non verbal but has her own ways of communicating
- Reliable, flexible & committed to the role.
- Car driver preferred and willing to drive M’s wheelchair accessible vehicle

Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
