Summary
Purpose of the role:
• To ensure the smooth running of the office, dealing with visitors,
correspondence, mail, telephone, petty cash and filing.
• To prepare, print and distribute key church documents
• Control of room bookings and invoicing
Main Responsibilies
• Working with the minister and other Church officers and staff
• Dealing with visitors and correspondence, internal and outgoing mail
• Preparation and distribution of weekly Orders of Service, meeting agendas and
minutes and other documents as required
• To handle all room promotion and bookings, liaise with caretaker staff on room
requirements, prepare invoices and follow up on payment
• To ensure update of church diary, weekly schedule of room use/activites and
databases
• Control and banking of petty cash
• To order cleaning and office materials, ensuring that sufficient supplies are
always available.
• Undertaking other duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to
time.
