FIXED TERM IN THE FIRST INSTANCE
We are seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner to teach across the whole ability and age range
in this large, popular, and oversubscribed academy. The successful candidate will have proven success in
delivering English Language and Literature throughout KS3 and KS4. They will also be able to demonstrate
positive outcomes for all groups of pupils and have the ability to engage and enthuse learners.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful and oversubscribed school. We are seeking to appoint
an excellent and dynamic classroom practitioner to join a supportive, forward-thinking, and well-resourced
English faculty. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a love for English and a commitment to
making a difference to the lives of young people. They will also model and promote our Christian values.
The fixed term contract will run from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027 due to organisational
considerations. This post is suitable for an experienced teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to establish
themselves in a new setting, or an early career teacher looking for their first teaching role. A permanent
contract will be considered for an experienced teacher looking to further their practice, and who promotes
success in the classroom.
