Summary

Secondary Supply Teacher – Day-to-Day Cover, Starting Immediately These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding areas. You will work across multiple secondary schools, providing day-to-day cover with the potential for longer-term or permanent roles.Duties as Secondary Supply Teacher:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies
• Support pupils’ learning and progress during cover lessons
• Provide feedback to school staff as required

Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching across Key Stages is desirable
• Strong classroom management and adaptability
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or have one registered on the Update Service
