A bit about us

Holy Trinity CE Primary Academy is a thriving and highly respected Single Academy Trust set in the village of Great Cheverell, in the heart of rural Wiltshire. We champion a holistic education rooted in Christian values, combining academic scholarship with exceptional pastoral care. Our curriculum nurtures character, creativity, sport, performance and adventure, preparing children confidently for the next stage of their learning in a contemporary world.

Our success is built on strong, positive partnerships between home, school and networks, ensuring every child can flourish and achieve their very best. We offer an ambitious, broad and creative curriculum where learning through rich, hands‑on experiences is central. Holy Trinity consistently performs within the top few percent of primary schools nationally in statutory assessments, while also delivering a vibrant and engaging education across all subject areas and enrichment opportunities.

Children are at the heart of everything we do. Our core Christian values of compassion, courage, aspiration and joy are lived out daily by our pupils, staff and governors, shaping a happy, inclusive and aspirational community.

All about the role:

We are seeking an inspirational, innovative, and outstanding leader for an established, high performing team to maintain our excellent standards and achievements for the benefit of the children whom we serve.

The successful candidate will be passionate about learning and teaching, and will have the drive and commitment to inspire and enthuse our children, staff, and parents. They will have a whole-hearted commitment to excellence in education, and be in sympathy with our foundation as a Church of England School. They will be a spiritual leader who will support and further develop our Christian ethos, working with the Diocese and our local clergy, building on positive, collaborative, relationships across our local community.

We will provide a strong, experienced and welcoming staff team, committed and skilful Governing Body and wonderful children who flourish in the atmosphere of engaging, exciting learning opportunities in our beautiful surroundings.
