As a Switchboard Operator with ISS UK, you will act as an ambassador for both ISS and our clients, managing incoming calls and enquiries while delivering a courteous, accurate, and seamless service experience.
This important role is ideal for someone who takes pride in clear communication, builds positive relationships, and ensures every caller receives a professional and helpful response.
The Role
Manage all incoming calls in a professional, polite, and timely manner
Direct calls accurately to the appropriate departments or individuals
Handle enquiries confidently, providing clear and accurate information
Take and relay messages promptly, ensuring attention to detail and confidentiality
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of site contacts, departments, and procedures
Support administrative tasks where required
Build positive working relationships with colleagues to ensure smooth communication across teams
Maintain a calm and professional approach when handling high call volumes or urgent situations
