Summary
Are you energetic, caring and passionate about helping children thrive? Sholden CE Primary School are looking for a positive and enthusiastic Midday Meals & Activities Supervisor to join our friendly team and make lunchtimes active, safe and fun for our pupils.
This position is temporary to cover sickness to start Monday 20th April 2026
KSA – FTE £24,513 (Actual Salary £3,756)
Hours: 6 hours 40 minutes per week, Monday to Friday (term time only)
About the Role
This is more than a supervision role — it’s an opportunity to inspire children through sport, play and positive interaction. You will:
• Lead and organise outdoor sporting and play activities (weather permitting)
• Broaden the range of sports and creative games available to children from Year R to Year 6
• Actively participate in games and encourage inclusive play
• Support pupils’ wellbeing, safety and positive behaviour during lunch
• Help resolve minor conflicts and promote the school’s values
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety and first aid procedures
• In the absence of another MDMS, you may also assist with setting up dining areas, supervising pupils while eating, and ensuring a calm and orderly lunchtime environment .
