Summary
Are you an experienced food production operative based in or around Scunthorpe and ready for your next opportunity? We are recruiting for a well-established food manufacturing company located just outside Scunthorpe.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive production team in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality, and efficiency are key. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the production line, helping to meet daily targets while maintaining high standards.
Your responsibilities will be:
• Operating and overseeing production machinery
• Packing and bagging food products to specification
• Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting duties
• Transferring finished goods to the dispatch area
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
What you will need:
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within food manufacturing or production
• A reliable team player with good communication skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, including lifting and moving heavy items and pallets
• Good written and spoken English
Please note: Due to the location of the site, your own transport is required. Free on-site parking is available.
This position is ongoing.
The role has a 7am start with varying finish times, working 5 days a week.
The hourly rate is £12.21 an hour. You will accrue up to 28 days holiday per year.
