What skills and experience we're looking for
From 1st September 2026, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational teacher to permanently join our team to deliver Business Studies at both KS4 & KS5. The teaching in the faculty is innovative and lively, with students developing respect for and sensitivity to others. Social Science staff collaborate on cross subject projects and lead whole school initiatives.
The Social Sciences Faculty consists of six subjects: Business Studies, Health and Social Care, Law, Psychology, Sociology, and Media Studies. A Level Business Studies, Law, Psychology and Sociology are examined by AQA. GCSE Business Studies, Cambridge National Health and Social Care and A Level Media Studies is examined by OCR.
We welcome applications from professional, effective and motivated ECTs and experienced teachers, who are keen to join our high performing team at Ulverston Victoria High School. A full and appropriate induction programme is available for all ECTs.
The successful candidate will share our passion for education and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
