Summary
Ensure high standards of care that promote dignity, individuality, wellbeing, and respect for children, adolescents, and families. Monitor and evaluate care provision on an ongoing basis to ensure quality and effectiveness. Supervise and support junior staff and lower-grade professionals within the team. Provide mentorship and supervision to students on placement. Identify personal development needs through appraisal and supervision processes and undertake continuous professional development. Contribute to service evaluation and recommend improvements to the Service Manager. Identify and promote opportunities for research and audit activities to support service development, escalating proposals to the Sector Manager where appropriate. Ensure all practice complies with organizational policies, clinical governance standards, and legal requirements.
