Summary
Design Manager - Central London - £400 a day+
We are currently recruiting for a Design Manager to join a leading main contractor based in Central London. They are currently searching for a freelance Design Manager for a DFE education project in London. The scheme is currently still in pre construction and consists of a new build steel frame school valued at circa £50m+. Reporting directly to the Head of Design and Operations Manager, potential candidates are welcomed from either a construction, consultancy or architectural background.
The Design Manager will have experience of working both on site and in the head office. The project is due for completion in 2028, the successful candidate will be expected to be office based for at least the first 3 months working on the PCSA before heading out to site for delivery.
Applicants must have experience of working on projects of at least £5m with leading Main Contractors, Developers, Architectural Practices or Consultancies with supporting references. They must also live within a commutable distance of Central London.
