Job Description

The role involves carrying out a wide range of building services tasks across fabric, basic plumbing, minor carpentry and general maintenance, ensuring the site remains safe, functional and well-maintained.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a steady, single-site position while still using a broad skill set day-to-day.

Undertake basic plumbing, minor carpentry, plastering, painting and general repair works.

Carry out external grounds maintenance duties as required.

Use the site’s tablet-based system to receive, complete and update tasks.

Escort and monitor subcontractors, ensuring compliance with standards and issuing Permits to Work.

Support mechanical, plumbing and general building services maintenance when required.

Ensure all equipment and work areas meet agreed company and client standards.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

General maintenance skills with an “all-rounder” approach.

Experience carrying out basic plumbing, plastering, carpentry (minor), painting and fabric repairs.

Ability to replace door locks, carry out tap temperature checks, change light fittings and complete day-to-day building fabric tasks.

Previous experience delivering fabric-biased building services maintenance.

Good communication skills and the ability to get along well with colleagues, contractors and site users.

Reliable, professional and able to represent the service positively on site.
