We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive HR Assistant to join our team and help ensure our people experience remains exceptional.
The Role
As our HR People Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting both our people and the HR team, helping us deliver an approachable, efficient and high quality service across the business.
You'll often be one of the first points of contact for employees, helping our people processes run smoothly and ensuring everyone feels supported.
Working closely with the HR team and managers you will provide support across the full employee life cycle from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, wellbeing, training and exit processes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting managers with recruitment, including shortlisting applications, arranging and assisting with interviews
* Tracking progress of all applications and ensuring timely communication and feedback to candidates
* Preparing personalised induction schedules and supporting new starters though first week and one month check ins
* Supporting employee relations casework, including accurate note taking and completing follow up administration
* Carrying out investigations where required, including meeting with employees, gathering statements and preparing summary reports
* Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring all HR documents are stored confidentially and correctly
* Supporting managers through the Absence Management process, including monitoring triggers and keeping accurate records
* Coordinating the exit interview process and sharing feedback with the HR Advisors
* Assisting with organising wellbeing activities, engagement initiatives and HR led events
* Helping coordinate training sessions and supporting learning
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who is approachable, organised and genuinely interested in supporting people.
You may already be working in an HR administration role and ready to take the next step towards a broader HR generalist position. You'll be comfortable communicating with people at all levels, using your initiative and handling sensitive information with care.
We would love to hear from candidates who are already working towards, or are interested in completing, their CIPD Level 3 qualification and are keen to continue developing their HR knowledge.
