Summary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Single Trade Decorator to work for our client in Kensington & Chelsea and surrounding areas.
Role purpose of Single Trade Decorator:
To deliver high quality painting, decorating, and associated remedial works across council properties, ensuring all work meets required standards, health and safety regulations, and customer service expectations.
Key duties and responsibilities of a Single Trade Decorator:
•Undertake mould washing and mould removal treatments in residential properties
•Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding, stripping, and priming
•Apply finishes including emulsion, gloss, and specialist coatings where required
•Ensure works are competed efficiently, safely, and within agreed timescales
•Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work areas before, during and after jobs
•Adhere to all health and safety, COSHH, and PPE requirements
•Work independently and as part of a wider facilities team when required
Working hours: 36 hours per week, 09:00am – 17:00pm
Pay rate: £21.52 per hour
Requirements of a Single Trade Decorator:
•Experience as a decorator/Ground’s worker in a housing or facilities environment
•Strong experience in mould washing and mould removal
•Good general decorating skills
•Ability to work independently
•Understanding of health and safety
•Enhanced DBS
•Driving License
