About this role…
We are looking for a Lead Manager to join the Snow Hill Court Team.
Assessment Centres are fast paced services where people are referred in, usually from the street, and rapidly referred on to appropriate longer term accommodation. The services are short stay, and staff provide wrap around support and liaison with several external partners, including physical health, mental health, substance use and housing. Staffed 24 hours to ensure this quick turnaround, they are a key service to ensure people are off the streets and in stable accommodation.
We will not accept applications where Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been used to assist with completing the competency questions.
You will:
.Be responsible for directly managing the staff team and overseeing the day-to-day management of a fast-paced assessment centre in the City of London
.Ensure residents are assessed and supported towards move on from the service within 28 days
.Work closely with the Area Manager and other colleagues to ensure the centre is an innovative service offering quality support to its residents
.Develop and manage partnerships with key agencies across London
.Ensure that the locality is well managed and relationships with the centre’s neighbours are strong
You will be:
.Outcome focussed with an understanding of how data can be used to inform our work towards ending homelessness
.Experienced in organising the operations of a complex and busy service
.A decisive and effective leader
.An excellent communicator, able to form and maintain effective working relationships with all partners
.Experience in directly managing staff, overseeing the management of others and ensure the services finances are well managed.
