Registered Nurse / Mental Health Nurse (RGN / RMN) – Nights
Location: Tonypandy, CF40 2JF
Pay: £20.00 per hour
Contract: Full time, nights - 36 hours per week
Hours: 19:00pm – 07:00am
Rota: Rolling rota including weekends & bank holidays

For over 30 years, Glyncornel Nursing Home has provided trusted care to older adults in a peaceful and welcoming setting. Our small, 16-bed home, located beside Glyncornel Lake, offers a calm atmosphere where residents are truly known as individuals and staff work together as a close-knit, supportive team.
Your Role
As a Night Nurse, you will play a key role in maintaining residents’ safety, comfort and wellbeing overnight while ensuring high clinical standards are upheld.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering safe, compassionate, person-centred nursing care
Administering medications and prescribed treatments
Monitoring residents’ health and responding appropriately to changes
Supporting residents with mobility, comfort and wellbeing needs
Leading and supporting care staff during the night shift
Maintaining accurate care plans, records, and handovers
Promoting dignity, independence and a calm night-time environment
What We’re Looking For
✔ NMC-registered Nurse (RGN preferred or RMN)
✔ Previous nursing experience desirable but not essential
✔ Confidence in medication management and clinical decision-making
✔ Calm, compassionate and resident-focused approach
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Organised and reliable within a small but busy home
