Summary
Warehouse Team Leader - Tilbury (Permanent Position)
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our fast‑paced fulfilment centre in Tilbury.
In this role of Warehouse Team Leader, you will support the Warehouse Supervisor with day‑to‑day warehouse operations, including team management, inventory control, order fulfilment and maintaining safety standards.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
This is a permanent position, and candidates must have experience leading a team in a similar warehouse or fulfilment environment.
The role involves working some weekend shifts and a rolling shift pattern:
6am to 3pm / 10.00am to 7pm.
Salary: Up to £29,000 (depending on experience)
Shift Premium: £1,500
Total Potential Earnings: Up to £30,440 per year
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate goals and deadlines to team members
- Plan workloads and delegate tasks effectively
- Create and maintain a productive working environment
- Assist with training and developing warehouse staff
- Perform customer service duties, including direct interaction with customers
- Share relevant business updates with the team
- Support the team with day‑to‑day operational tasks
Experience Required
- Proven experience leading a team within a fulfilment or warehouse operation is essential
Shift Pattern
- 6am-3pm / 10am-7pm
- Includes some weekend working
