Role Overview
We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join on a cover basis. The successful candidate will provide support across all classes, from the Early Years Foundation Phase (EYFP) to Key Stage 2, including the school’s Special Resource Base (SRB). A strong understanding of key elements of the Welsh curriculum is essential, along with the confidence to support pupils effectively when required.
Key Requirements
• Alternatively, PGCE or PCET qualifications are acceptable
• At least six months’ experience working in a classroom setting
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A reflective, creative, and proactive approach to supporting learning
