Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals in a care home settings, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their wellbeing. Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support clients with mobility and daily routines, promoting independence where possible
Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
Maintain accurate care plans and document any changes in the client’s condition
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Support clients with medication reminders in accordance with care plans
Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
Use IT systems to record care activities and update client records
Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings as required
Requirements:
Ideally working towards or hold an SVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care
An Understanding of National Care Standards and Codes of Conducts
Maintain confidentiality at all times
Have a passion to deliver high levels of care at all times.
SSSC Registration or willingness to register within the specified timescale.
