Sawing Machinist

Redruth | £12.21 per hour | Monday-Friday | 8am-5pm | Temporary to Permanent

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Sawing Machinist to join a busy manufacturing team in Redruth.

The Sawing Machinist is responsible for machining high-quality orthoses efficiently, handling various fabrics, performing basic machine maintenance, and ensuring all products meet production standards.

Key Duties
  • Sew bespoke garments including reinforcements and fastenings.

  • Operate zigzag, overlocked, and blind hem machines to a high standard.

  • Check products against specifications.

  • Sew alterations as required.

  • Log work accurately on manufacturing software.

Requirements
  • Previous experience desirable but not essential.

  • Thorough and precise in approach.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Good manual dexterity and ability to work with your hands.

  • Numerically competent and computer literate.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a small team.

  • Commitment to delivering a high level of quality.

  • Ensure accurate and timely output.
