Summary


An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to lead the Clinical Treatment Team.

The post holder will support staff and clinics arrangements across the Trust’s Lancashire footprint. You will ensure the delivery of safe and responsive services across various physical health and ECT clinics.

Working hours are between Mondays – Friday 09:00 – 17:00 although some flexibility regarding start and finish times may be required.

You should be a registered mental health nurse and be familiar with mental health community and inpatient services and teams. You should have experience of delivering supervision and managing staff. You will have experience of working within a community mental health setting and be familiar with the Trusts mental health community and inpatient services.

The Clinical Treatment Team covers East, North and Central Lancashire which means you will be required to travel to other localities to support if required.



The purpose of this job is to support the Clinical Treatment Team in delivering a high quality mental health service as described in the Team’s Operational Procedure.

This involves managing the CTT staff across areas of the service as agreed with the CTT Matron and Service Manager.

The Team Leader will be responsible for day to day management of the team, providing clinical/management supervision and ensuring the team delivers a safe and responsive service.
