Summary
NMC Registered Nurse / Midwife First level degree or relevant experience Evidence of on-going CPD at relevant level, short course/specialist training. Holds an approved teaching and assessing qualification. Masters in a health-related subject or evidence of working at master’s level. Significant post registration community experience Proven experience at Band 7 level Evidence of previous resource and budget management experience Experience in research and audit. Including data collection, analysis, and evaluation Experience in investigation management Experience in complaints and conflict management Experience of managing difficult and complex personnel/people situations. Experience of report writing and presentation Experience of leading and delivering significant programmes of change within an NHS setting. Ability to work under pressure across competing demands. Able to demonstrate a personal contribution to the continuing professional development of staff Demonstrates an understanding of the role of the Matron. Knowledge of current NHS policy and their implication for services. Effective leadership and influencing skills. Demonstrates an understanding of accountability, responsibility, and authority. Knowledge of health and safety issues and processes Knowledge of governance and processes Demonstrates disability awareness and the need to make reasonable adjustments. Awareness of own limitations.
